Simoun Hangul

I'm trying to find out more about the origins of the anime Simoun. Apparently it's based on an original work by Jin Seob Song - certainly the title, and the term "siwula" used in the synopsis sound more Korean than Japanese.

Unfortunately I can barely transliterate hangul, let along read Korean. These are my best guesses at the transliteration: can anyone correct them so I can Google, or even better point me to the original work?
JIN Seob Song 진섭성
SONG Jin Seob 성진섭
Simun (closer to the Japanese シムーン) 시문
Siwula 시울아 (this is almost certainly wrong)
If you can provide any info, please mail me. 감사합니다 ^_^
